Annual Mango Drive

The Winters Flat Primary School Mango Fundraiser is held each year in October. We source our mangoes direct from the grower in QLD, and having them delivered straight to our school as soon as the crop is ready. It doesn’t get much fresher than that!
As one of our biggest, most popular, and probably yummiest fundraising events, we’d love you to get behind it – and here’s a few tips how…

MAKE IT GREAT…

  • Share the Mango love - let your family, co-workers, friends and neighbours know they can also enjoy farm fresh mangoes by ordering a tray from you as well (just add them to the mango list over the page).
  • Reap the Mango rewards - The family that sells the most trays will receive a $100 book voucher.
  • Do not miss the Mango boat - make sure you complete and return this form, together with payment, to Winters Flat Primary School office by Friday 30th October, 2020
  • Get those Mango recipes ready - Mangoes should be ready for collection from the school during the week commencing the 7th December, but we will confirm the arrival date in Flat Chat, email or via our social media sites.

NOTE: ORDERS MUST BE PAID FOR BEFORE DELIVERY.

LOVE YOUR MANGOS…
It is IMPORTANT NOT TO refrigerate mangoes until they begin to soften & smell sweet, & are ready to eat. They should be stored at room temperature in a shaded or air-conditioned area – Ideally 18 – 25°c. Once refrigerated they should keep for another 7 to 10 days.
If you do not have time to eat them all, try freezing the pulp. It is great for using in smoothies, jams or desserts throughout the year.
